Michael (Mike) is a licensed architect & AICP certified planner, with extensive experience working for smaller communities throughout the Rocky Mountains. Mike ensures that planning matters are graphically portrayed. In addition to hand-prepared graphics, Mike uses AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign for all projects to ensure that work products are easy to understand and assimilate.

Robert Haywood has engaged in a variety of economic development activities throughout the globe with a particular emphasis on diagnosing local economic conditions and discovering innovative ways to utilize local strengths and overcome local deficiencies. After being awarded a MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School, Bob has been engaged in hands-on operations management of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, research, policy development, teaching, and consulting both here and abroad.
Barbara Cole, President, and Founder
Barbara Cole is a community development specialist who is recognized throughout the Rocky Mountain region as a project specific facilitator and land use expert that has helped numerous small communities thrive, even in the toughest of economic times. Barbara has an extensive background in economic revitalization, downtown development, land use planning, developing land use regulations, and community engagement. Barbara has a graduate degree from MIT, and is author of numerous books to assist communities undergoing change both in the States and abroad for national organizations such as the National Trust for Historic Preservation and US Small Business Adminsiotration..
Ann Pitinga has over 20 years of experience in planning, economic development, statistical analysis, urban renewal, and grant administration. A native Coloradoan, Ms. Pitinga brings a strong public sector commitment to Community Matters, Inc. (CMI). Ann is experienced in writing municipal codes and ordinances, developing complicated municipal services projections for Cities as diverse as Fountain, and Aspen, Colorado of the negotiation and review of major development proposals and has served as a planning commissioner
